I heard the voice
of the Lord,
saying,
Whom shall
I send,
and who
will go for us?
Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.
Sasha Malamuzh studies in the University to become a lawyer but God called him to be a missionary. Now he is one of the regional supervisors and most committed people at the "International Partnerships". He shared his story with us.

      "I was born in Cherkassy and was brought up to be obedient to God, even though my parents didn't know Jesus personally. My life was very similar to many others. I knew some general things about God before I was 17, but hadn't accepted Him as my Friend and Savior. I saw the way other believers lived and wanted to have the same life, but something scared me and didn't let me leave my own views and understandings. I knew that believers could never steal or lie and couldn't live the same life-style that I lived. It really scared me. What would my friends and relatives think about me? So I put off coming to Christ for some other time. "Not today," I thought, "I still have time."

In 1994, I took part in a Christian children's camp for the first time in my life. I was delighted with the camp and with the relationships that I saw between the people there. They were all so loving and caring and their attitude amazed me. However, I suddenly got sick and was taken to the hospital. My grandmother who was a believer, asked her church members to pray for my recovery. Praise the Lord! He healed not only my body, but also my soul. One evening I was listening to a Christian radio program and thinking, "My life differs from my grandma's life and from the lives of other people that go to church. I always considered myself to be a believer, but didn't want to change anything." That very evening, I decided to accept Jesus Christ into my heart. After accepting Him, I noticed my life changing. My way of thinking and acting changed. I could go to church without feeling ashamed. I could tell the truth when every one else was lying. Jesus Christ helped me to become a different person. I'm very happy about what He has done and how He continues to work in my life.

In 2000, I graduated from the University and began looking for a place to work and serve God at the same time. Becoming a staff member of International Partnerships was a great blessing from God for me . Since that time, I have been serving my Lord in Cherkassy and am eager to do whatever He tells me and go wherever He calls me".
