I heard the voice
of the Lord,
saying,
Whom shall
I send,
and who
will go for us?
Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.
   Sasha Fedun from Kiev team tells about one of the English+Bible groups:
   "In our English group on Thursdays, we study women of the Old Testament. From this Bible study comes a discussion on how to form Christian character. This month we talked about Miriam. This led us to discuss her life, as well as our feeling helpless in family life, faith, jealousy and different flaws. Our next character was Rahab. We talked about what we should do when our faith becomes weak. Then we looked on Deborah's life. We discussed prayer and how to ask for help in times of strong tests and hard life circumstances, how to overcome our fear, and what it means to be a good leader. Moreover, in our last group we read about the life of Delilah and Samson. We were talking about using manipulation in the family, about our desire to be praised, and how sometimes we can bother each other and whine.
    Ira Zubitskaya says that this group has been very encouraging for her spiritual life. There is one new woman in our group - Sveta. She has not accepted Christ yet. Nevertheless, she is free to share her opinion with us. Usually, she does not agree that we need to pray and trust God. She thinks that everyone is a creator of his own happiness, and we have to achieve it and work hard on this achievement of our dream. Sometimes we try to use every opportunity.
    It's so wonderful to see how Natasha (the girl that doesn't go to church yet) softly but persistently tries to show Sveta that she is mistaken. During our last group, Natasha's story was more like a testimony. "I was born and raised in unchristian family. My parents are not believers, and all of my life I had the same thoughts as you have…, but after several years, everything has changed. Prayer is really working, God exists, and He helps. Just trust Him and talk to Him, ask Him something. . ."
    At the end of the group, everybody invited Sveta to come again. "Come next Thursday! Will you come next time? We are waiting on you! We will miss you!" Earlier I was the one who said these words, but now they all do this. Their invitations sound sincere, from the depth of their hearts, with care.
   The following Thursday, Sveta came with very exciting news. She told us that she tried to talk to God in prayer. It is wonderful to hear this kind of news and see how God begins His work down in Sveta's heart.
