God has blessed us with a ministry in 10 cities of Ukraine. I want to invite you to the tour of some of them and to praise our Lord for His unlimited mercy to us.
The first city on our way will be Lviv. There are 15 groups that our team leads here, 10 of them are English + Bible. People at the groups became more active, ask questions, seek for the answers in the Bible. Many of them started to attend Sunday service in a new church. On the 20th of April Sunday service was evangelistic where 50 people came. Most of them were from groups but many relatives and friends came too. At end of the service there was a calling to repent and two people prayed sinner’s prayer.
Not far from our capital there’s Cherkassy city. Our team has 11 groups here and in Larisa’s group one lady accepted Christ. Jesus found her at the time when she needed Him the most abandoned by her future baby’s father. God is merciful and great, He blessed her and even surprised by His generosity giving her “husband” back.
Now let’s go to Kharkov. As in all other teams our staff here prepared an Easter service and tried it to be unusual and very interesting. God blessed them and husband of one lady from the church led the whole preparation. He’s unbeliever and works in a regional organization in the department of social work for the youth. He’s fond of role-plays and decided to help with that. It was a very good way to tell him more about God and even involve him into the ministry. Easter service was one big role-play telling about the events right after Christ’s resurrection. It was great and everybody had a very good time.
Now we’re not very far from Zaporozhie. It’s also East of our country. Maksim and Anya have 12 groups and continue working at their spiritual growth. To help the groups also grow in number they organized an English school that took place in April 22-26. It was the first English project this year. Every day 40-45 people came to the school, all of them filled the applications at the end where they wrote that want to continue meeting during the year and want to attend discussion groups. That was a whole achieving of all goals and purposes.
Being charmed by the beauty of Crimean peninsular we come to Sympheropol. It’s warmth makes people’s hearts smooth too and they open their souls to the Gospel. In one of 18 groups a young lady decided to give her life to Jesus. Her name is Zhenya and her past leaves much to be desired - she used drugs for two years. Before that she studied to become a musician but gave up and now she wants to continue her study. God began a wonderful work in her and He’ll finish it. Praise the Lord!
