I heard the voice
of the Lord,
saying,
Whom shall
I send,
and who
will go for us?
Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.
    Tanya Petrova is a new member of IP family. She serves in Zaporozhie. We were so happy to hear that her husband accepted Christ this month.

    We remember first meeting Sasha Petrov. He came to us at the very end of our Saturday meeting to take his girlfriend Tanya home. He was standing in the door and looked very shy. Later he told us that both Ira and Anya came up to him to introduce themselves. And they kept smiling which surprised him. Then Anya’s husband came up to him and started asking questions. “Oh, well - Sasha thought, now he’ll start convincing me.” But it didn’t happen. Next time Sasha came earlier but after the worship was finished. He started to attend services every Saturday. After some time, Tanya and Sasha decided to get married, and we were very happy for them. Last summer, Tanya got baptized, and in the fall she joined our team. Sasha wasn’t afraid of us anymore and was seeking God with a sincere heart. Finally this month, in April he accepted Christ as his Savior. It was the greatest joy for our team!!

At the end of April Lviv team was having an English school. Luda Pyrig is sharing:
    “Dima and his wife were the part of my group at the English school. On the first day, on Saturday, right after the English part I said that we were going to have a discussion. Dima got angry and said: “I came here to learn English, why do I have to sit here and listen to this?” I explained it to him and he stayed but wasn’t happy. The atmosphere was hostile; I couldn’t get them excited and finished the lesson much earlier than I planned to. The American who was teaching English in my group wrote to her brothers and sisters in the States and asked to pray for all difficult people in the groups. As a result each person got one prayer partner from America. Dima - the most difficult participant in my group - had three people who prayed for him. On Monday I came to the class and was even afraid to start. I was surprised and happy to see Dima. He was not that hostile any more and even started to smile. In two days I couldn’t recognize him, he was joking with me. On the last day we were videotaping the school, and it showed so vividly that Dima was the most happy and friendly person there. At the very end we asked everybody to share their impressions about the Bible studies. Dima wrote: “First I was against it but then I liked it. I am glad that nobody made me think the way they do.” He and his wife decided to continue coming to the Bible study group English + Bible. And 14 out of 15 people from my group expressed their desire to come to the weekly Bible study.”
