I heard the voice
of the Lord,
saying,
Whom shall
I send,
and who
will go for us?
Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.
    Recently in a Sunday service in Cherkassy, Yulia Sobolevskaia, a dentist who works at the state and a private clinic, testified that she had decided to accept Jesus Christ as her Savior and follow Him. The Cherkassy team shared the following story about Yulia.
    “The ways of God are inscrutable. It was so interesting how we met Julia. Two years ago we were coming back from the first evangelistic hiking trip to the Carpathians. There were not many people on the train and we were having a lot of fun playing games. Suddenly a conductor came to us and said that there was a girl sitting all alone at the end of the train. “Maybe you can invite her to your game?” – suggested the conductor.
    We invited Yulia to play with us and really enjoyed her company. She is a very sociable, and interesting person. The rule of our game was that the ones who lose are to buy lunch at a cafe for those who won. We were surprised and very glad to see Yulia come to the cafe when we all gathered there. After that first meeting we invited her to our Sunday service. She came willingly and with pleasure.
    Yulia attended Sunday services every week and last spring took part in the Crimea hiking tour. Yulia had a positive attitude to the Word of God and a good, open relationship with our lay leaders, but she was not eager to trust her life to Christ. She was attracted to the careless life of a young girl in night clubs and noisy companies.
    During that time Yulia also attended different Bible study groups and listened to many audio sermons that were available in our church. Many of our lay leaders prayed for Yulia’s decision to follow Christ and God answered our prayers. One day she admitted that in the light of God’s truth her life seemed empty and senseless. Yulia understood that she needed Jesus who forgives our sins and gives abundant life. So, at home she prayed and trusted her life to Jesus, accepted Him as her Savior, then she gave witness to that to our entire church.”
