I heard the voice
of the Lord,
saying,
Whom shall
I send,
and who
will go for us?
Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.

May, 2003

Not long ago, May 26-29 all staff of “International Partnerships” had the opportunity to spend three wonderful days together and get some skills in counseling. Five seminars on counseling were taught by a young master of theology.

Casey Cobell received his M.A. Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary where he concentrated on Systematic Theology and Pastoral Counseling. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Oxford Center of Mission Studies in Oxford, England where his proposed research project is in Mission Theology. Casey currently serves as the Executive Director of Rivendell Stewards' Trust, a foundation that supports Christian ministries around the world. He lives with his beautiful wife in Santa Barbara, California.

It was our fourth meeting with Casey and each time he brings something very important for ministry. This time it was a practical material and during the sessions everybody could try themselves to be counselors. We were divided into triads where each member took turns to be a counselor a person being counseled and a spectator.

Our time of worshiping God is always special! In a prayer we take His hand and go with Him to the world where His love reigns. He teaches us how to worship Him and how to give everything to Him.

Praise God together with us for His unlimited blessings: all American groups that are coming this summer to our English schools, for all Bible study groups that our teams have in their cities, for all churches that appeared through our ministry. Please pray with us:

  • For all English schools and tent camps.
  • For recruiting new staff.
  • For starting ministry in two new cities.
  • For the health of our staff and their families.
