I heard the voice
of the Lord,
saying,
Whom shall
I send,
and who
will go for us?
Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.
    Not so long ago our Vinnitsa team started to organize Sunday meetings. They have become a wonderful start for the future church. Following is the testimony of the Vinnitsa team:

   “This month we had large growth in numbers at our Sunday meetings. We used to have 7-10 people, but this month 18-27 people came to the service. There was a special meeting where we talked about drug addiction. We showed the film “Truth about drugs” and then had a discussion. There were so many questions that we didn’t even have time for all the answers. Mark, a missionary that is helping our team, shared his testimony. He used to be a drug addict and God saved him and set him free. That Sunday we had 7 nonbelievers at the service. All of them liked it very much because we talked about big and urgent problems in our world and what we can do to solve them.
   It is such a blessing that God is giving us the desire and wisdom to organize a church. We managed to create a place and atmosphere where everybody feels free and safe, nobody is trying to manipulate or control anything, everyone is being accepted, and every opinion is being heard. We talk about what is important and we ‘walk the talk’.
   Last Sunday we decided to have a picnic with shish kebabs. An hour beforehand it started to rain and the sky was all covered with grey clouds. It seemed that the rain would never stop and we were already going to have to cancel everything. But in a few minutes the rain stopped and the sun shone again.
   When we came to the picnic place and started gathering wood, the sun was still shining and birds were singing in the trees. When the fire was already pretty strong and the coals were ready, the wind started carrying a big rainy cloud in our direction. It was good that we’d set up a big tent because when it started to rain we had a place to hide the food, our things and 10 girls. All the rest hid under umbrellas and plastic bags. Some of us tried to protect the fire. In 15 minutes the rain stopped and the sun shone bright again. Right after the rain stopped we played a game and had an interesting discussion. Even though the grass was wet we managed to set a “table” on the ground. Sergei cooked the shish kebabs for everyone. We all brought something and had a great feast. Then we celebrated three birthdays! It was a great picnic! 27 people came and enjoyed being together in fellowship. Praise the Lord!!”
