Natasha came to the Bible discussion group a year and a half ago. First it was hard to say if she believed in God or not and whether our fellowships helped her at all. But this month she opened her heart and revealed everything she was thinking. Here's the part of her letter:
"You might be surprised but only recently I have understood that the Bible study group is a road, a way, a path. It's the road to Him, the path to get home. I started to feel that almost physically. Sometimes I feel that it's easy to walk on this road, I can see happy faces of my fellow travelers, sunny and beautiful landscapes. And it makes me want to run! But sometimes it gets harder to walk, fellow travelers disappear, my baggage gets heavier and lots of obstacles appear on the road. Sometimes I sit down on this road and don't want to do anything and go anywhere. Everything is the same - the landscape, the people. I even have the desire to leave this road and never come back. That's what I feel and I think other people might think the same sometimes. But now I can see how people in our group have changed during these two years. The road makes them stronger, wiser and more patient. But we need to make some effort. About a year and a half ago I used to ask myself a question going back home after our Bible studies: 'What are you doing here? Run and never come back.' But I kept coming back and now everything has changed. I don't think that much about how many people came today and what topic we're discussing. It's not the most important for me now. The most critical thing is that God is there, and He is waiting for me! I believe in that! I spend a lot of time getting there because I know that my Lord will ask, 'Natasha, what happened? You can't give me some time and forget for a little while that your dinner is not ready and your report is not done? Can't you take some time and think why you came here and what I want from you? I want you to focus on the Bible for these two hours because I am speaking to you, and you're not listening!!'"

Realizing what people think about the Bible studies and how God is working in their hearts is important. What a blessing and a privilege it is for us to be the part of God's work!
