POWER OF GOD’S SPIRIT

What makes people open their heart towards Jesus Christ, what power helps them to make this most important decision in their lives? It’s very personal and unique for everybody. Somebody is amazed by the light in the eyes of Christians; somebody is attracted by a good fellowship among people who are ready to sacrifice their lives for others; somebody wants to find the sense of life. But in all cases each of them is called by the power of God’s Spirit! “Mountains are melting in your presence!” – we sing songs of praise. Have you been in His presence? Can you describe that?

Two weeks ago I was in the most beautiful place in the world where everything around is made by the hand of our Great Creator. It is the foot of our Bear Mountain in the Crimea. Everything there would remind you Him: pure air and virgin nature; heavenly sunsets and moonlight nights; seagulls and the sea; and the great and mighty mountain that doesn’t let us forget the power and strength of our Father in the presence of Whom even mountains are melting!

At that wonderful place Kharkov church camp was taking place. Young church came to serve God and people who accepted their invitation and came to the camp. During 6 days all participants were discussing the days of creation: darkness and light, beauty of the heaven, flora and fauna, lights in the heaven and, at last, the crown of God’s creation – a man. Every day these topics were being revealed at the Bible study groups and during a special time around campfire. God could not help touching them, those who “are weeping and sorrowing in pain” without even knowing about it. Ten people accepted Christ at that camp and decided to follow Jesus in their lives! May the Lord bless their decision and desire and not let them go from His hand from no on. Pray with us for their growth and relations with Jesus, please. Praise to Him forever! Amen.
