Kiev
“International Partnerships” staff training took place. The topic of this conference was “Catch the wave” and the atmosphere had to be appropriate.
Alexandra Fedun is sharing her impressions of the conference with all of us.
First thing that I saw coming into the room was the beauty of all decorations that made the walls and tables so colorful and pretty. The garlands of flowers and balloons, the “ocean grass” hanging on the walls, pine-apples and bananas “growing” on the tables – everything made the room like from a wonderland. I thought I was in a fairy-tale. It reminded me of the summer and sea and something wonderful full of adventures and happiness. It was very cold outside but in our auditorium it was a real summer and real

! If anyone wouldn’t believe that we would show him the big “Aloha” sign on the wall and a surfboard below. So, we could be in
Ukraine
and in
Hawaii
at the same time, isn’t that wonderful?
Seven days of the conference or of one big

party “Catch the wave” did make me seek for my own wave again. The wave that appeared with my first love to God and was lost in a vanity of life problems. This conference made me analyze my life and ministry again: Where am I now and what am I doing? Sitting at the beach and waiting? Or do I have a great desire to grasp those opportunities that God gives me? See those people that need my help, catch the wave that God has prepared for me at th e very beginning. “Why others should follow me?” “If they are not following me, why not?” This was the part of what we were talking at the conference. We’re raising leaders and help others to find God. In each of us there’s a great desire to always be on the wave. This desire is inspiring me to fight for people’s souls and hearts winning them for Christ!
