I heard the voice
of the Lord,
saying,
Whom shall
I send,
and who
will go for us?
Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.
   My name is Marina, I am 24. I study Art in the University and work as a teacher of drawing in school and as a designer. But the most I love to have fellowship with God and to serve Him.
   I have a lot of friends but only a few of them are believers. I love all my relatives and friends and really want them to accept Jesus into their heart. I attend the small church in Dnipropetrovsk that has been planted by the team from "International Partnerships". We want our church to grow. We keep praying for God to save our relatives and other unbeliever that we know. We organize a lot of activities trying to share God's Word with people - Bible study groups, movies with discussions, holidays, picnics, summer camps - but unfortunately very often people's hearts are closed for God.
   Once me and my friends - both believers and unbelievers - went hiking to the Crimean mountains. It was a wonderful time that helped us to get to know each other much better. I noticed that in this atmosphere people become more open and learn from each other. There are so may situations during hiking when we show our true selves. And people could see Jesus in us and understand the beauty of that. We had so many opportunities to reveal God's love and had enough time to share Christ with them.
   Recently we have started a Tourist Club. More and more people join us and our main goal is to help them understand how beautiful life with God is. Very often people are attracted to adventures, beautiful places, extreme sports; but I know that the most important for then as well as for me is love, care, help, trust, fellowship and friendship.
   The members of the club go hiking regularly. And every time we find time to read the Bible, talk about God, sing praise to Him and pray. Before meals we pray together with all unbelievers, and now it's become a tradition. I can see how these trips change me and my friends. For many of them it was almost impossible to talk about God, but now He's getting closer and closer to them. One of the girls has even come to the Sunday service, and we pray that all of them come to know Jesus and start attending our church.
