Fall in Odessa

Fall has been quite warm in our country this year but as far as ministry development it has been even hot. It started in the end of October when the English project took place in Odessa. Seven Bible discussion groups started as a result of it. It is a great blessing for us especially since ministry in new cities is always very difficult in the beginning.

Ken and Judy Nance and Dan and Naomi Price (from NC) have been in Ukraine twice this year. In June they came here together with Ron and Mary Bruce for English project in Cherkassy, and God opened their hearts for Ukraine and Ukrainian people. And two of three couples decided to come back again in October to serve Christ and help our new team in Odessa to start the ministry in this city.

We are thankful to God for each heart that followed His calling and for people who came thousands of miles away from home to serve Him. We also thank those who are planning to come and participate in our language projects in 2004. May Lord bless you and your families!

In November God added two more members to the team in Odessa. Sergey Bermas, a pastor of a young church and his helper Igor Samokhin joined the team. Together they will work on growing new church.

Soon Christians all over the world will celebrate Christmas! May this day be the warmest for you in spite of the frost, may it be the most wonderful in spite of all troubles that could happen in your life and may it bring magic to your hearts!!!
