English schools

English schools are held for Ukrainians who want to begin learning or to continue mastering the English language. The summer course meets 3 hours each day for a week. All classes are free (except for the small cost of an English textbook) and are taught by native English speakers (usually Americans) and IP staff. The first half of each class is a study of the English textbook led by the native English speaker.  The second half of the class is led by an IP staff member and is a discussion in English about life topics, utilizing the Bible. 80%-90% of those who attend summer classes continue with follow up classes which form at the end of the summer. Information on 2006:

• In 2006 twelve English projects took place in different cities of Ukraine .
  
  
• We had 11 different groups of westerners (50 people) who came from California, Texas, Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and New York. International Partnerships staff is thankful tî our American friends for their faithfulness to God's calling to come to Ukraine and minister to our people.
  
  
• About 500 people participated in English projects. Many of them had their first exposure to Christianity during that time.
